welcome to fairlawn

The faculty and staff at Fairlawn Elementary believe it is never too early to start planning for college. In 2009 Fairlawn was accepted as the first No Excuses University (NEU) school campus in Indiana. As an NEU school, Fairlawn actively promotes college and career readiness by encouraging students to set goals, and exposes them to powerful college symbolism like college flags, banners, shirts and more. In an effort to promote academic excellence, Fairlawn also offers students the opportunity to be inducted into the National Elementary School Honor Society. After fifth grade, Fairlawn Elementary School students will attend McGary Middle School for grades six through eight, then move to Harrison High School.
