Welcome to the Fairlawn Media Center, where we will do our best to ensure students and teachers have the information needed to succeed!

Gone are the days of quiet, hush hush libraries! The current generations’ libraries are Media Centers full of color, activities, excitement, and fun. The Media Center is a place where our kid's imaginations run freely. Say hello to the new “hub” of the school and community!

The Media Center at Fairlawn Elementary houses thousands of age appropriate books ranging from classics to the latest releases. Depending on the grade, children are allowed to check out one or two books, and take them home at their teachers’ discretion in grades three through five. Checking out library books helps promote a sense of independence and teaches children responsibility by caring for their books and returning them on their due date.

Twice a year, a Book Fair is hosted for children to have the opportunity to purchase books & accessories while raising money to propagate our school’s current titles. Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to visit our Media Center with their children. Come see for yourself how bright, playful, and fun we are at Fairlawn!
